From the depths of silence comes her music.
A gentle melody rising and falling through the air.
like the curves of her body playing in my mind.
The sounds fill my heart, not a note can my ears define.
I listen in deepest wonder, do others hear this too?
She whispers my name, my breath replies.
My hands follow, touching the source of sound.
The lips that utter music so divine.
The sonata begins to play, her exposition reaches my ears.
My body responds to her overture, creating a slow crescendo within me.
Our music developing like a symphony, luminous strings, swelling brass.
From this sweet adagio we begin to rise together.
Like the double helix we are entwined, inseparable.
Two melodies swirling responding to each others improvisations.
A passionate song, sung by two and for two.
Our words set to our music, the sound of Us.
Composed, arranged and performed by love.
Poem by Dante, dedicated to Daevina
